Approved by the Kent County Board of Commissioners on October 9, this project marks the launch of the Kent County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority’s efforts toward tackling housing issues through the state’s brownfield tax increment financing (TIF) program. Set at a value of $750,000, the brownfield plan will facilitate a $3.3 million development that includes 17 apartment units across three buildings on East Main Street.
